Who We Are
I began showing dogs in the 1970's. My breed of choice then was English Springer Spaniels. When my daughter, Rebecca, graduated from college she wanted a dog to show in Agility and Obedience. Thus my "New Journey" began into Miniature Poodles. Ready, an apricot miniature poodle was our first poodle and he became a Champion in Conformation for me and went on to earn his MACH title in Agility with Rebecca. Our next poodle joined us from Tim Garrison of Eaglehill Poodles formally located in New Haven, CT. Tim and I co-bred for many years under Eaglehill prefix. Today Debbie and Rebecca Schnulle show and breed under the Prefix of Eaglehill-South Miniature Poodles after Tim passed away.
We have also been known as "Classic Poodles" or Eaglehill-South Classic Poodles over the years.

We keep only a few Miniature Poodles as our housepets first, and our show dogs second. Which is the way we feel is appropriate for our poodles to be raised. Our puppies and adults are on Non-Breeding Contracts only and are not for breeding ever. I spend an incredible amount of time raising, training and working with our puppies to find just the right homes that they will fit into.

Training
Training is essential for a well-behaved and obedient poodle. You train them or they train you. Minis love to train and learn new tricks and manners. They typically need several "fun" 5-10 minute training sessions daily to understand what you are trying to communicate and teach them.
